I’ve completed two months of my Temperature blanket! For those who may have missed it, I’m crocheting one row a day on an afghan, based on the day’s highest temperature.
This month had my son’s birthday, so I used a silver yarn for that day (kind of hard to see in the picture). There was also an extra day, due to it being Leap Year Day, so I made the bump/knot for that row a little larger, as you can see at the top row. I also changed the direction of the bumps/knots to show the change in the month, so it should create a zig-zag pattern.
It’s a fun-looking pattern, and I can’t wait to see what happens next month!!

I live in Bowmanville, and am a mom to four young boys - it can get a little loud in my house. I am a Christian, a part-time French teacher, a piano teacher and former homeschooler. I love finding the best deals, which will come in handy when our boys become hungry teenagers! We just moved to a house with more outdoor space, and I'm still getting used to life in the country (a walk around the block is a lot longer here!).

I love how you switched directions for a new month. I’m doing the same pattern but still in the first month, so I might have to try that.
Did you ever finish your blanket or post more about it?
The switching directions turned out great!! It’s really easy to see each new month, and it gives it a cool chevron-type pattern!
I unfortunately didn’t finish my project. I got about halfway, and that was it. I should just put a little border around it or something – it’s still a great looking blanket. The finished project would have been MASSIVE, I think!! Good luck with yours!
