It’s been kind of a chilly and wet March break this year – much more pleasant than the very cold & snowy March break the last two years, but still, a little harder to find things to do. The weather this morning was looking up – 8 degrees and sunny – and then, just after lunch, the dark clouds rolled in and the rain came pouring down. Perfect timing for our outing to the most anticipated event this season.
This year’s Disney on Ice show, Dare to Dream, has been on the top of our minds all day, every day, because there was billboard just a block down from our house and we passed it twice a day, at least. This little lady was just so excited to see REAL PRINCESSES dancing on the ice!
We brought along Anneke’s little friend – and found that it’s nearly impossible to get a decent picture of two wiggly three year olds. 🙂 BONUS: the tickets we gave to our readers ended up being right beside our seats – how fun!
What an absolutely fantastic time we had – Tiana, Snow White, Cinderella, and Rapunzel all graced us with their beautiful presence and gorgeous skating! The crowd favourite was definitely Rapunzel and Finn (Eugene) as they did an exhilarating aerial performance. I have to admit that I’ve never actually watched Tangled – though it’s jumped onto the top of my ‘kid movies to watch’ now!
Anneke, however, stuck with her current obsession, claiming that Cinderella was the definite star of the show. Who can blame her, after all?
Disney on Ice’s Dare to Dream is running in Hamilton until Sunday – 2pm and 7pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11am and 2pm on Sunday. Buy your tickets here or at the door – but based on how incredibly full the arena was this afternoon, I’d get the tickets ahead of time and arrive early if you need parking!
Disclaimer: we received tickets to the show for ourselves and to give away to our readers in exchange for posting about this event. Our thoughts and opinions are all our own!

We really enjoyed the show! Our favourite part was Rapunzel and Finn.
Wasn’t the aerial thing that Rapunzel & Finn did amazing? It was my favourite part, too! So glad you guys had fun!!
