You Pinspire Me
So apparently having four kids is a “big family,” according to most of society. And the fact that they are all boys – wow, I must really have my hands full! 🙂 I don’t mind all the comments. A big family is what I grew up with, and I love it. It is busy, noisy, messy, and definitely never boring. Our boys get along relatively well, at least in public, and are pretty good kids. As far as I can tell, they are fairly good friends, and are great companions for each other.
They have their moments, of course. Sometimes they drive each other crazy (their mother too!). Last year in school, my then-7-year-old brought home this picture, which clearly articulates some of his feelings for his brothers!
I was a middle child, as well, just like him. Yes, siblings can be annoying. Older and younger, both can drive you crazy! But when it comes down to it, we teach our kids that they are always there for each other. No matter what. Friends will come and go, but brothers are there for life.
One of our family’s favourite Netflix movies these days is Despicable Me. It’s a story of a very unlikely group that becomes a family, and how family always takes care of each other! The characters are lovable, the writing is clever, and the music is great. It’s one of those family movies that is fun for adults to watch also.

We watch Netflix a lot on our house. My kids love the Food Network shows on there.
Its amazing how some shows go full circle.. Full House my son now watches and thinks its a great show..

We love our Netflix account. I am watching The 100 right now. There are so many great movies and shows to choose from.
I have heard a lot about Desipicable Me, but have not seen this movie yet. From your list though, I did see and like Peabody and Mr. Sherman; Yours, Mine & Ours; and Kung Fu Panda.
