The Best April Fool’s Pranks 2014

If every fool wore a crown, we should all be kings.   -Welsh Proverb

I spent a fair amount of time online today following the New and Ingenious products, news reports, and services that were unveiled on this auspicious day. I wanted to show some of my favourites with you, since some of them are really quite clever, and I’d hate for you to miss out on these fun things, it’s rare for so many gems to pop up in one day, and for the big (and small!) players to all be in the same game! These are my fave April Fools Day Pranks from this year:

It’s handy that this Premier Football League team has the same team colours as the Ti-Cats – we can be a yellow & black city all summer long! Bonus: existing season ticket holders in the UK can fly into Hamilton International Airport to catch the games here in Canada.

A clever fellow from Hamilton that I follow on Twitter posted this first thing this morning. Simple, but well done. One of my faves.

I live in Hamilton, Ontario, and love my city. I'm a Netflixer, choral music geek, bookworm, inventor of recipes (I take Artistic Licence on EVERYTHING that I make), wife of one, mother of two, and owner of a neurotic Schnauzer. I respect people who respect others. I love good food that's well done, but my favourite lunch is KD & hotdogs. With ketchup. I'm addicted to Clearance Shopping. I will ALWAYS get the product that I want at the price that I want, eventually.
