Five Minute Fudge – Only Two Ingredients

I don’t even remember who I first heard this recipe from.  It was told by word of mouth and it’s so incredibly easy.  Just two ingredients gives you the perfect no-fail, five minute fudge.

Take one can of frosting, one package of chocolate chips, and put them in a microwavable bowl.  Microwave at 70% power for 2 minutes.  Stir until all the chocolate chips are melted into the icing.

Pour into an 8×8 dish.  I like to line mine with parchment paper so it just pops out for easy cutting.  Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Cut, serve, enjoy!  I like to use a pizza cutter to cut nice even pieces.

The variations that you can make are endless.  I added some mint flavouring (or use mint chocolate chips) and crushed some candy canes on  top.

Use dark frosting and semi-sweet chocolate chips.  Add some nuts on top.

Use vanilla frosting with white chocolate chips.  Mix in some dried cranberries & nuts.

Use butterscotch frosting & butterscotch chips.

Any other suggestions?!

Makes a great neighbour gift or teacher gift too.

  10. It’s awesome with a can of any flavor frosting and a 16 oz jar of peanut butter!!!

  11. You can also sprinkle in Frosting Creations to make many other flavor variations.

  12. They are little flavor mix packets made by Duncan Hines. You add them to your frosting to create different flavors like cotton candy, mint, orange, caramel and more. They are slightly smaller then a packet of kool aid. You can find them in the baking section of your grocery store.
