Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids#EFL #TogetherForever #sponsored

One of my biggest struggles in my kitchen cupboards HAS to be my plastic container cupboard.  No matter how many times I organize it and re-arrange it, it always turns into an avalanche of lids and boxes, where we stuff dishes in and close the cupboard door really quickly.  This past summer, I added a dish rack for storing lids, which helped a bit, but I still spend ages looking for a container and lid that match. Does anyone else have that problem? So frustrating!

That's just embarrassing!!

That’s just embarrassing!!

That’s why I was so excited to try out Rubbermaid’s Easy Find Lids! Can you tell I’m a grown-up now? Getting excited about food storage! And this is the perfect time of year – the time of cooking, baking, and sharing meals, and storing leftovers afterwards.  There are just the right-sized containers in this set! Larger ones for the pre-made salads and other dishes, and smaller ones that are the perfect size to store another meal’s worth or to pack tomorrow’s lunch (and there are not too many of the really tiny ones that don’t get as much use).

And the best part of this set are the lids! Each lid fits a shallow and a deep container. Every single lid snaps into each other, and right onto the bottom of its container! I never liked to fit the lids on top when putting away because I wanted the inside to air-dry, and so I would lose many lids in that process. With the lid snapped on the bottom, the two pieces can air dry while staying #TogetherForever.

Around the month of November, I like to start baking one or two things a week and put them in the freezer to get ahead on my Christmas baking.  When it’s in the freezer it’s safely away from little ones that want to snack (though I have discovered that many squares taste even better frozen!). These containers can go in the microwave, the freezer, and the dishwasher.  And because it’s Rubbermaid, you know it is good quality!

Holiday food prep and storage has become so much easier for me this winter!! And no more avalanche of containers attacking me when I dare to open the cupboard!

I live in Bowmanville, and am a mom to four young boys - it can get a little loud in my house. I am a Christian, a part-time French teacher, a piano teacher and former homeschooler. I love finding the best deals, which will come in handy when our boys become hungry teenagers! We just moved to a house with more outdoor space, and I'm still getting used to life in the country (a walk around the block is a lot longer here!).
