Full disclosure: I stole this easy Father’s Day Card idea from my cousin, who posted this card on Instagram for Mother’s Day. Thanks, Megan!! 🙂
It’s pretty straight forward, and it’s REALLY easy. If you’ve got one child, use both of their hands (same or different colour paint). If you’ve got multiples, everybody picks a different colour of paint, and they all get to contribute!
Step 1: Fold a piece of 8 1/2 x 11″ paper in half width-wise. Place down on the table with the fold on the RIGHT hand side (so the card would open left to right instead of right to left. Paint 1 hand.
Step 2: Help your child place their hand in the middle of the card and press down each finger and the palm to ensure a good hand print.
Step 3: Let the paint dry for a few minutes.
Step 4: Repeat Steps 3 & 4 until all children have had a chance to make a hand print.
Step 5: Turn the card upside down (so the fold is on the left hand side again) and add the text! I’m sorry, mine sooo does not look professional. I never got straight-A’s in penmanship. But personally, I still think it looks cute. 🙂
And there you have it! Let the kids decorate the inside of the card, and they can proudly present their work of art to daddy on Father’s Day!

That is so cute! I’ve pinned this onto my Father’s Day board. (Wish Pinterest was around when I was raising my son.)
