]If you are looking for interesting YouTube videos to watch with your family, you HAVE to check out some guys called Dude Perfect. We stumbled on them a few weeks ago while looking for basketball trick shots and we were not disappointed!
Dude Perfect is a group of 5 former college athletes/roommates/friends who started with a few little stunts, and ended up with millions of You Tube followers!! They have every kind of stunt you can imagine! Basketball, baseball, football, golf, and pool trick shots! Go kart races! Sumo battles. Nerf challenges! Ping pong trick shots! Archery! Paintball! If you can name it, they’ve probably tried it! And they’re actually really good at them all! They often challenge professionals, and do just as well as them. They have episodes where they break world records for throws and trick shots.
They are really good at identifying trends and getting on the bandwagon, like FIDGET SPINNERS!! Check out the amazing things they can do with them!! Our boys are motivated to try their own stunts now!!
And BOTTLE FLIPPING!! Seriously amazing. How did they do that?!!
They’re all about 5-7 minutes, so it’s fun to watch a bunch in a row with the family. And one of my favourite parts is that they are actually Christians. It doesn’t come through in their activities, but I can feel much more comfortable watching with our kids, knowing that the content and language won’t be questionable! And our boys love that the songs they use are cool Christian rock bands.
They do a lot of work with sponsors (ie. Pringles, Oreo, or Nerf) but they do such a great job with the stunts that it doesn’t bother us. They seem to have so much fun together – I suppose it’s every kid’s dream to grow up and do things like this for a living!!
