MR – I learned how to crochet when I was young, and did a fair bit in university. Even after we were first married, I did a bit, but as the kids came, I did less and less. That didn’t stop me from pinning all these cute projects, like some cute crochet Mary Jane slippers. So last week I picked up my yarn & hook, and made a pair of slippers. The pin that I saw was an adaptation of another pattern, and it looked very cute.
This was my result, and I was very pleased (after about 3 hours and a little bit of “un-crocheting” to make it smaller). So cute!
But the one slipper was still a bit too big, and was falling off my foot,
So I added some straps across, to create a Mary Jane-style slipper. Fits much better and still looks great, though I loved the first version too! Head over here for the pattern.
