Cookie Dough Dip

Hello friends!  My name is Marnie, and I have the honour of contributing a guest post to “You Pinspire Me” today.

This past weekend a bunch of us were fortunate enough to spend some time at a co-worker’s cottage and It. Was. Amazing.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather.  Take a look at this awesome sunset:

But the real reason for this post is to share with you the scrumptious, decadently delicious snack I made for everyone to enjoy on Saturday evening.  I’ve had the recipe for Cookie Dough Dip pinned for months, and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to make it.

Doesn’t it look delicious?  I didn’t deviate from the original recipe, so I’m not going to repeat it again here (just click on the link above).  However, there are innumerable variations that you could try depending on your taste.

For instance – instead of butter, try mixing the cream cheese with peanut butter, or nutella.  And instead of chocolate chips, throw in some of those mini peanut butter cups, or Reese’s pieces, etc.  Mmmmmm…. the possibilities are endless!  Just thinking about it is making me hungry.

I served the dip with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, chocolate covered cookies (as pictured) and apple slices.  The apple slices and graham crackers were by far the favourites.
The recipe made approximately 4 cups of dip (enough to enjoy this treat 2 days in a row!)  🙂  If you won’t be serving a large crowd of people I would recommend that you cut the measurements in half so that you don’t overdose on dip.

This treat was enthusiastically enjoyed by all and gets 2 thumbs up!

I respect people who respect others. I love good food that's well done, but my favourite lunch is KD & hotdogs. With ketchup. I'm addicted to Clearance Shopping. I will ALWAYS get the product that I want at the price that I want, eventually.

  1. It was, indeed, truly delicious. I’m not going to lie. I love the idea, thought, of using peanut butter in it!! Will have to remember that for whichever occasion I find to use this recipe!! 😉

  2. That looks amazing! Thanks for posting! Can’t wait to try it.
