You Pinspire Me
Such a grey, rainy day today. I wanted something that would cheer everyone up and make the house smell great, so I searched Pinterest, of course, for a delicious-looking apple cinnamon recipe. I found this recipe for baked donuts from Suburban Epicurian, and it looked great. I’ve never actually made donuts in my donut tins – just muffins (see this post), but these looked so delicious.
The only problem is that I should have doubled the recipe – they were gone in no time!
I used half whole wheat flour, increased the amount of apples, and I really should have cut the amount of sugar in half, since they got dipped in cinnamon and sugar after and ended up quite sweet.
