Have you been in a Hallmark store lately? Anneke and I stopped by one last week, and I have to say, they pretty much got ALL of their Christmas stuff right this year. I kind of want it all.
The folks from Hallmark asked if we’d be interested in featuring any of their things in our holiday gift guide, but since we weren’t doing one this year, we countered back and asked them if maybe they’d like to give our readers something nice if we shared a few of their products? Of course they eagerly said “Yes! We’d love to spoil your readers!” I took a look at the gift guide that they provided us with and, much like the selection we saw in the store, there was…. nothing that we wouldn’t put on our wish-list for Christmas decor!
I have to say, this “Joy” sign won my heart – it looks good in the picture, but it’s downright charming in person. I’m thinking it’d look really sharp on our dining room bookcase.
Do you have nativities in your house? When I was growing up, one of my favourite things to do at Christmas was play with the Nativities. My mom had this wooden set that that my siblings & I bought for her one year – I used to set it up on the record turn table and set it on the lowest speed. Yeah. I’m just that cool.
Anyhow, I hate that so many decorations aren’t kid-friendly – so I really like this itty bitty Nativity – it’s MEANT for kids to pick it up and handle it! That’s my kind of decoration. And, you know what’s super fun? The super awesome reps from Hallmark are going to give this itty bitty Nativity set to one of you, along with a delightful Holiday candle & soap set!
Here are a few more of my favourites – any one of them would make the perfect addition to our Christmas decor!
